Goals:

  • [image]development and maintenance of the national references - national and reference measurement standards of Romania - for the units of the following quantities: DC voltage, DC resistance, DC current, impedance (AC resistance, capacitance, inductance), AC voltage, AC current, AC power and energy, AC high voltage, AC voltage ratio, AC current ratio
  • dissemination of the units, at the required accuracy level, through calibration services, whose results are traceable to the SI.
  • development of measuring techniques and procedures, including uncertainty analysis methods, participation in international, regional and bilateral comparisons
  • [image]consultancy and training on issues related to the measurement theory and practice
  • pattern evaluations and metrological verifications

IMPORTANT: The calibrations are performed by the Electrical Measurements laboratory according to the requirements of SR EN ISO 17025/2005. The Quality Management System implemented in the laboratory is accepted within the EURAMET.
