Mission:
Development and operation of the national and reference standards for the photometric, radiometric and spectrophotometric units;
- Units dissemination at national level according to the Mutual Recognition Arrangement for national measurement standards and calibration certificates issued by the NMIs (CIPM-MRA) requirements.

Units dissemination
IMPORTANT
The INM Optical Quantities laboratory calibrations are performed under a Quality System meeting the requirements of SR ISO 17025. It was presented and obtained the confidence of the EUROMET QS Forum participants (see euromet.org site, QS Forum section). The main calibration capabilities offered by the INM Optical Quantities laboratory are internationally recognized within the Mutual Recognition Arrangement for National Measurement standards and Calibration Certificates issued by the NMI-s (MRA).
For details see the site http://www.bipm.org, Appendix C of the section KCDB.
